Insanity

She questions herself more and more about it. Dreams of places she’s never been. memories of other people, whispers from voices long since past— she knows it’s in the Force, but not who they are or why they’re linked to her, she’s no mystic. To mention this matters to anyone would peg her as crazy, so she bottles it up and lets her confusion and frustration fester until she figures out a suitable way to bring this up, or settle herself.

Morality

She’s the queen of grey, of duality. Her actions show that fact quite enough.

Lies

The truth is a relative thing, even if three people see the same thing, there will twenty different stories. So sometimes lying and having people perceive it as truth is better. You never know what is true and what is not with her, and frankly she doesn’t give a shit what people see it as.

Urge

While there are occasional bursts, it has seemed Kar has master control over herself, after all her talents could prove destructive to everyone and herself if not kept in check. The sheer willpower she has is quite vast. But it is reaching its limit.

Accent

Her accent bears a more Concordian tone than that of Mandalore accent, though it has mellowed significantly since her departure to a more ‘Earthborn’ accent, sometime her old one pops up though.

I figured it should be brought up.

Kar is literally all about being prepared, no matter what. Like she’s ready to fight even if she’s in the buff armed with only a ballpoint.

That being said, for that reason, she actually had the small Omni-tool device implanted into her own arm, which easily syncs to her armor’s HUD and hardsuit computer.

So if she’s stuck with nothing, she at leas has that. And you all know that an Omni-tool could be all she really needs…

Kar is like any old Mando, if the thing can be fixed, it’s gonna be. She is constantly repairing her training mechs to the point where they cannot be used. Any other gadgets and whatnot tend to pile up, and she’ll have to look through to see if it’s really all that salvageable or worth money for scrap.

If it’s risky, unreliable, obsolete, or beyond repair, she’ll replace it. Even if she can afford to just toss it aside and buy something newer now. She was raised in a somewhat frugal household so the habits remain.

Nightmares

She won’t admit it, but given the life she’s lived, she does have PTSD (this is an ooc confirmation for curious persons). It manifests most through nightmares, re-living Galidraan or Cato Nemoidia  and such to near-perfect recall, or similar situations. This is why she doesn’t sleep much, or a lone even.  It’s been going on for so longs she’s just accepted is as an unfortunate part of being her.

Morality

Kar’s sense of morality…well it’s hard to explain a woman who in one moment will strangle you with the Force or shoot you without any qualms, and in another use that said power to help a wounded soldier or help deliver a baby.

I guess she is the essence of duality. She is both Dark and Light, a concept that probably would confuse both Orders. She subscribes to belief of the Unifying Force, rather the living Force— the Force is neither benevolent nor malignant, it is the person who is ‘Dark’ or ‘Light’.  Kar sees her as good person. While her abilities are considered more akin ‘Sith’ , she uses them for greater purposes. She has the rage and drive of a Sith, the compassion and tolerance of Jedi, the heart and soul and skill of a Mandalorian, and has accepted that she cannot deny one in favor of the other and seeks to balance them out.

No matter what she does, she owns up for her responsibilities. She is not afraid to be called a monster and resort to seemingly terrible actions, just as much as she is willing to be compassionate and act with some ‘mercy’. Because whatever the rest of the galaxy might think, she knows in her heart that what she did, not matter how wonderful or terrible, it was the right thing to do. To ensure this galaxy lives to see another day, to protect and guide her people. She knows every man and woman she killed was someone’s child, someone’s parent, but also know that their death assure her or per people’s existence. Should anyone try to seek their vengeance, she would let them. (Whether or no they survive the fight is another thing.)

In short, she thinks in greys for the most part, some things are black and white though. In D&D Alignments I see her as more Chaotic Good/Neutral.

Anonymous sent: Cherish

She holds very little dear, some of it is obvious, others aren’t. When you find yourself away from everything and everyone you know and love, you tend to take a little more care for the people that followed you to this seemingly suicidal run. Her sister, the clones that followed, she may not show it much, but every single one of them are important to her. They’re her family now. And as the unofficial matriarch, she will do her damnedest to help them.

Anonymous sent: Laughter

As her duties and trials of leadership place more and more weight upon her, she finds herself smiling less genuine, her laughter more hollow— not the woman that had a many clone and non-clone alike rolling over in tears nearly half a decade ago in Arca Barracks. Her humor has become more barbed, acerbic, pithy even. Sharp, like a blade, intended to wound rather than amuse these days.

But perhaps that is the evolution of herself, it is sad to think about, but she seeks no ways of fixing it either.

Anonymous sent: Solace

No matter her age from ten to one hundred, if one needed to find her, one only had to turn to the highest vantage point. As a child it was the tall trees of the outer forests that surrounded her home, on Kamino it was the massive towers, the Ramparts of Coruscant, and now Citadel or her home on New Mandalore.  Unafraid of falling, she likes being high up where people can’t reach, where she can survey the world with the eye of an explorer, to think without being disturbed.

More often than not, she does hear your calls from below. She just pays them no heed.

Anonymous sent: Shiny

Kar’s love for shiny things is well known— but here jewerly collection has only started to grow since her arrival here in the Milky Way.  She had to leave a lot of things back when fleeing Coruscant— many precious things. However, she managed to keep at least two pieces— a violet Adegan crystal, which she now uses in her saber, and a very small Corsuca gem which had been a token of affection from her then partner.

It is now, being far from him, far from the planet that got its name from the gem that she appreciates it most. Among other things.
